Hawaii
4-Island
Adventure
Please find below the itinerary we have planned for our
17
day Hawaii vacation tour. We have tried to include many of the
“must-see” attractions while on the islands, but we have also
tried to give you some relaxing time on your own also.
March
15 ~
Day
1
We
fly from Toronto to Vancouver this evening and spend our
first night at the Day’s Inn near the Vancouver Airport. In doing
this, we will not have to endure the long flight to Honolulu all at
once.
March

Day

Today we fly from Vancouver to Honolulu. We will spend the
next
4
nights
in Waikiki Beach on Oahu. During our stay here we
will be visiting Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial. We will
also have a city tour of Honolulu including Punchbowl Crater &
Memorial, the State Capital, Chinatown and more points of interest.
There will be ample time for you to take optional tours on your own
such as, tour the USS Missouri, visit the Polynesian Culture Center,
take an island tour, shop in Honolulu, Waikiki and the International
Market Place, take a stroll on Waikiki Beach, visit Diamond Head,
visit the Honolulu Zoo and much more. For those interested in
aviation, there is the new Pacific Aviation Museum. You will delve
into the intriguing history of military flight in this interactive
museum which presents classic American and Japanese airplanes. You
will see historic footage of the attack of Pearl Harbor and
experience the sights, sounds and exhilaration of the first days of
the war. Or, you can just relax on beautiful Waikiki Beach!

We fly to Kauai today and spend the next
4
nights
on this beautiful island. This is our favourite island. It is the
least commercialized and the most relaxing island. The lush, green,
tropical scenery of Kauai is world-famous. You may recognize the
scenery from Hollywood classics like South Pacific, Jurassic Park
and others. We will be staying on the Coconut Coast (east side) of
Kauai in Kapaa. We have included tours to Waimea Canyon (the
Grand Canyon of the Pacific), a leisurely cruise along the
Wailua River to the famous Fern Grotto, visit Poipu beach area on
the south shore and a tour of the north shore. If you would like
to take a helicopter tour while in Hawaii, we advise you do it on
Kauai. The breathtaking Na Pali coast can only be seen from the air
or the water. From the helicopter you will be able to see the Na
Pali coast, Waimea Canyon and many of the waterfalls you see in the
movies. This beautiful island gives you the chance to be as active
as you want to be or just relax and take in the aloha spirit that
the island has to offer.
March
24 – 26
~
Day

We
fly to the Island of Hawaii today where we will spend the
next
3
nights. We will be staying on the west coast
of the island in the Kailua-Kona area in an oceanfront hotel within
walking distance of restaurants and shops. The Big Island
has it all. Nowhere else in the world will you find the diversity
available here. Pristine rain forests, lava deserts, world-class
beaches, snow covered mountains, an active volcano - Kilauea,
dazzling sunsets and just about every activity you can think of. If
we could take you to only one place on the Big Island, it
would be to Volcanoes National Park. When we first toured this
park, we felt like we had landed on the moon. We were truly
awestruck! Our island tour will include a visit to this amazing
natural wonder!
March
27 – 29
~ Day

We
fly to the island of Maui and spend the next
3
nights.
Our hotel will be located on the flawless stretch of world-renowned
Kaanapali Beach. We have included a tour of Iao Valley State Park
where you will find the Iao Needle and the Kepaniwai Heritage
Gardens, Maui Tropical Plantation and more. Our hotel is located
near the old whaling town of Lahaina with lots of shops and
restaurants, etc. There is a shuttle available from our hotel
leaving several times a day to Lahaina. There is also Whaler’s
Village just a short walk from our hotel that has shopping,
restaurants and museums. You might want to take an optional tour
such as the Road to Hana. No road in Hawaii is more celebrated than
the Hana Highway, the supercurvaceous two-lane highway that winds
along Maui’s northeastern shore, offering some of the most gorgeous
waterfalls, botanical gardens, magnificent seascapes and scenic
natural sightseeing in the entire state. For those that get motion
sickness, this might not be a good tour for you, though. From the
beautiful beach in front of our hotel you might be able to observe
whales that migrate to this area at this time of year. This is a
good island to take a whale watching cruise.

Today we say goodbye to our tropical paradise and board our flight
to Vancouver, taking with us unforgettable memories of a vacation of
a lifetime! We will once again stay at the Days Inn near the

All
too soon our journey ends as we fly home to Toronto today. We will
take with us great memories and bid a fond farewell to our family of
travelling friends and hope everyone has had a wonderful
Topplane Travel “Fun Trip” in paradise.
Airlines
We will be flying with Westjet Airlines for our flights
to and from Hawaii. In order to make our flight not so long, we
will be flying from Toronto the first night and staying at the Days
Inn near the Vancouver Airport and flying from Vancouver to Honolulu
the next morning. On our return, we will be flying from Maui to
Vancouver and staying at the Days Inn again that evening and flying
back to Toronto the next morning. This will make the flights to and
from Hawaii much more bearable. Inter-island flights will be
announced at a later date.
Hotels
Negotiations with the hotels we will be staying at on each island
has not been finalized yet. All of the hotels we will be staying at
are on the ocean with partial or oceanviews. We have tried to
choose them so that you will be within walking distance to shops,
restaurants, entertainment, etc.

included. The exact number is not available at this time but will
be available soon.
